Oh my goodness so much has happened. We went to a great convention in Louisville, Kentucky. ”Loo-ville” I have be told. Pronounced with as little vowels as possible. That way you sound like you are from there. They have not had a con for 20 years. They were hungry for comics in this area. All of the artists and vendors were very happy with the turn out. Derek is also working on a new movie and he has asked me to help out since I am out of school for the summer. To top it all off our internet connection has had come difficultly recently so sorry for the delay. Lil’ Ered and Lil’ Nik join us today. I just can’t get enough of them they say the craziest things.
Yeah Free Comic Book Day! The holiday for comic geeks! I am warning you in advance Free Comic Book Day is May 7, 2011! Check your local comic book shop for free comics! Now if you have never gone it is not every comic that is free. Comic artist release special editions on that day for comic dealers to hand out. And just so you know if you go and they are limiting the quantities you get that is because the comic dealers have to still pay for them. So they buy what they can afford in these tough economic times. But this is a great way to promote and new comic so go and get your free comic but be really kind to your comic dealer. Happy Free Comic Book Day!
For those of you that don’t go to comic conventions this is very true. It is like Halloween all the time. You never know what superhero you are going to run into and you can get your picture taken with all of them. This is for our good friend The Chain Mail Chick. She is really cool and fun to talk to. Check her out on Facebook.
Some strips come from real life. Some are fantasy. Sometimes we wish they are fantasy and sometimes they are. What about this one? Real or fantasy.
